Rune stones are standing stones with runic inscriptions dating from the Iron Age (Viking Age) and early Middle Ages.

How did you first become interested?
About 6 years ago, I started with the Icelandic runes and read a book on their meanings. I was then fortunate enough to be given some Egyptian rune as a present.
What was your first experience?
I did some readings and decided that I could tune into the Runes. I also have an Egyptian connection in my past life when I in fact also read the runes for other people. It is a lot more difficult to connect with the runes than let’s say the Tarot because of the short meanings and lack of pictorial reference.
What kind of information comes through?
You have to have someone to connect with so when I pull out the Rune to obtain the symbolism it gives me the start of the inner emotions of where situations are coming from, then my spiritual team are able to give me more information on that emotion for the person that I am reading for.
How would you suggest someone tries this for the first time?
Buy a starter pack, book and Rune stones. Do readings for people you know and use the book at all times for information whilst you are starting and familiarising yourself with the Runes and their meanings. When you feel confident based on the feedback you get, put the book away and tune into the Runes, trust your guidance and spirit will assist you.
Can you suggest any tips or techniques?
Be able to grow your confidence, don’t give up as you may doubt the information you get. Go with that first instinctive/intuitive feeling.
Anything else you would like to add?
Don’t try and fill yourself with too much information, keep it simple. If you try a Rune reading yourself and find it hard to interpret this, please do not hesitate in giving me a call, look at the live readers section to see if I am available and I would love to talk you through your reading and help you in any way that I can.
Love and light
